Our founder, Darlene Johnson, sets a high bar for her staff. Teachers must obtain CDA, CPR, fire and safety, and first aid certification, pass a biannual health assessment, and obtain state criminal and child-abuse clearances to even be considered for employment. We value lifelong learning in adults as well as in children, so in addition to training in early childhood education, we ask that all of our staff members pursue 12 continuing education credit hours, double the state’s requirement. But working with children is about more than just credentials—we also look for a warm, nurturing personality and a true passion for developing young minds. If you’re interested in our programs, we invite you to come in and meet our team.

“The teachers and staff keep working with the kids to deal with different behavioral issues!”
