Our families come from Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia County. We provide nutritious, homemade style breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and offer full-time and part-time care. Our children’s programs are separated by age group, with dedicated spaces for each group.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1611068037370{margin-top: 1.1rem !important;}”]We offer a relaxed, loving environment, with highly qualified teachers who truly care about each and every child. Innovative ideas like our afternoon relaxation time and a wide range of field trips set us apart from other day-care centers. We believe in making learning fun. That’s why our children do phenomenally well academically, even in highly selective elementary schools. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love of learning in every child who passes through our doors.
We are fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare and we participate in the Keystone STARS program. Individually and as a team, we strive for continual improvement and excellence.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space alter_height=”biggest” hide_on_mobile=””][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1482934415828{margin-top: 0.7rem !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1331″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_empty_space alter_height=”huge” hide_on_mobile=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” content_placement=”middle” back_image=”” css=”.vc_custom_1611722628827{background-color: #4b8bfb !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1611722653302{background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”1329″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space alter_height=”biggest” hide_on_mobile=””][trx_sc_title title_style=”default” title_tag=”h2″ title_align=”default” title=”OUR ACADEMICS” subtitle=”Play is the most powerful learning tool.” description=”” link=”” link_text=”” link_image=”” scheme=”dark” id=”” class=”” css=””][vc_empty_space alter_height=”large” hide_on_mobile=”” css=”.vc_custom_1482936405172{margin-bottom: 0.15rem !important;}”][vc_column_text scheme=”darks”]Play is often regarded as a break from serious learning, but play is the most powerful learning tool. Not only do children learn while they play, but play also allows them to practice what they have been taught.
We take your child’s education seriously. Our daycare is much more than a safe place for your child to exist, it is a community in which they can thrive! From early language learning (including foreign languages and American Sign Language) to social skills and hands-on experiences with art and nature, at Darlene’s Wee Care 4 Kids, we nurture your child’s growing mind. Our learning programs incorporate the widely acclaimed “Creative Curriculum.” We make learning fun, engaging children without overwhelming them. Our approach to learning primes children to become lifelong learners — giving them a head start for success at school, college, and careers.
We offer age-appropriate programs ranging from infants to before and after school programs for school-aged children. We also have special needs programs for our children who have delays. Our summer camp provides children of all ages a fun way to retain what they learned in the previous school year and give them a headstart for the one to come. There is no greater gift and no better foundation than the joy of learning. Children’s minds are like sponges: if you expose them to learning early, they soak up knowledge.
